MHC Class II region
The sequencing and annotation of the canine MHC class II region was part of a collaboration between the Genetics group at the Animal Health Trust and the HAVANA group at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute. The Centre for Integrated Genomic Medical Research at the University of Manchester and John Wagner at the Thomas Jefferson University also made significant contributions to the project.
Funding was provided by Dogs Trust (formerly the National Canine Defence League).
